On the map to the right, you will find various areas we have labelled to help you learn the layout of Birch Run Speedway Pits.
The Pit Office is located at the Northern midpoint of the property. The pit office is where you will purchase a pit pass, & sign the waiver and release to compete. You will be assigned your transponder from this spot. You may download the track registration ahead of time, by clicking the registration PDF on this page. You also must complete the Myracepass online registration. This is how we register your Free to use transponder and count your laps, qualifying times, etc. Myracepass is also how we will calculate your payout based on finish - so it must be a completed registration.
When you pull in, you will go to your FREE to use pit stall. Pit Stalls are first come first serve basis. On select nights, when we have tours in with Toter/Stacker Haulers, we will place haulers in select areas. Fuel is located at the West side of the Tech Barn at the bulk tank behind the cement K barriers. Tires are available in the Tech Barn. We do accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Cash as payment for those items.
Hot Lapping Times, Line ups, and any bulletins pertaining to the days event, plus the complete itinerary for the event will be on display on the Flat Screen Monitor at the East Exterior Wall of the Tech Barn.
When you begin hot lapping for the first time, the track entrance is located at the Northwest corner of the race track (Turn 4). When your session is complete, you'll exit the race track just past Turn 2 on the East Back Stretch.
Your tech will occur pre-race qualifying for all cars, and for top 3 minimum after each feature event. Report with your car immediately after the feature event. Do not pull into your pit stall, or have any exchanges with any crew before reporting to Tech. Failure to do so results in immediate DQ from the event. No Exceptions for anyone.
Payout is distributed by management at the front office located by the entrance for the Front Gate Grandstands. Payout is on a computer program generated by Myracepass depending on your finishing spot. Once we receive communication from tech that top 3 are clear of DQ's the pay will be printed and distributed for that class by CHECK. We do this to streamline the process for everyone. If you want immediate cash, we will cash your race winnings check at GASOLINE ALLEY bar located 30 feet from the payout office.
